Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2, 2026
1. The service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Skillon (skillon.dev), including the Skill catalog, downloadable Skill packages, installation guides, the command-line installer, accounts, and paid plans (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
Skillon is a curated marketplace of Agent Skills — reusable workflows for AI agents. A Skill package typically contains a SKILL.md file plus scripts, references, templates, and installation notes. Catalog descriptions, covers, and previews help you evaluate a Skill; the downloaded package is the product you receive.
AI agents, models, and third-party tools evolve independently of us. We do our best to keep Skills working, but we cannot guarantee that every Skill stays compatible with every agent, model version, operating system, or third-party service.
2. Accounts
Some features require an account. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Our command-line installer signs in through a browser-based device code flow. Do not share your device codes or access tokens, and do not attempt to use another person's account or purchase entitlement.
We may suspend or restrict an account that we reasonably believe is compromised, used fraudulently, or used in violation of these Terms.
3. Plans and single purchases
Skillon offers membership plans and individual Skill purchases:
- Monthly plan (US$9.99/month) and Yearly plan (US$79/year): unlock all premium Skills while the subscription is active. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel.
- Lifetime plan (US$169, one-time): unlocks premium Skills on an ongoing basis for a single payment. It is not a promise that the Service will operate forever.
- Individual Skills (US$1.49–US$6.99): a one-time purchase unlocks the identified Skill for your account permanently.
Prices, taxes, and billing intervals are shown before checkout. We may change prices or plan features for the future; changes never retroactively alter a completed one-time purchase.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by our payment providers (currently Creem, with Stripe and Paddle available). Your card details are handled by the provider; we never see or store your full card number. By completing checkout you authorize the charge shown.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep access until then. One-time purchases and the Lifetime plan have no recurring charges.
5. Refunds
Skills and membership access are digital products delivered immediately after payment. Payments are non-refundable once access is granted or a Skill can be downloaded — including for non-use, accidental purchase, incompatibility with a preferred agent or model, cancellation partway through a period, or later changes to the catalog. We do not offer prorated refunds or credits.
This does not limit any refund or withdrawal right that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction. We will also correct duplicate charges or charges we can verify as unauthorized. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@skillon.dev.
6. License
Subject to payment and these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Skills you have acquired, for your own personal or internal business work. You may use a Skill to produce commercial work; your use of third-party models, assets, and services remains subject to their own terms.
You may not resell, sublicense, publish, share, or redistribute a Skill package itself, its paid download links, or your access credentials. You may not present our catalog descriptions, covers, or curation as your own.
7. Acceptable use
You may not:
- bypass authentication, purchase, download, rate-limit, or publication controls;
- scrape or bulk-copy catalog content without written permission;
- share paid accounts, tokens, packages, or download links outside the licensed account;
- upload malware, secrets, infringing material, or content you have no right to distribute;
- interfere with the Service or probe its security without authorization;
- use the Service in violation of any law or third-party rights.
8. Changes to Skills and the Service
We may update, correct, replace, unpublish, or remove Skills for security, quality, legal, or operational reasons, and we may change or discontinue parts of the Service. Where practical we will avoid disrupting legitimate access to content you already acquired, but we cannot guarantee permanent hosting or availability of any particular Skill.
9. Disclaimers
The Service and Skills are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
You are responsible for reviewing a Skill and its scripts before running them, protecting your credentials, keeping backups, and verifying AI-generated results before relying on them. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, specific results, accuracy, or that a Skill is error-free.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skillon and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or use arising from the Service or any Skill. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Skillon for the affected Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits apply only to the extent permitted by law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your account page. We may suspend or terminate access for material violation of these Terms, fraud, security risk, unpaid charges, or legal requirement. Sections concerning payments, licenses, disclaimers, liability, and enforcement survive termination where their nature requires it.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We will update the date above and give additional notice when a change materially affects your rights. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
